Shipping and Delivery

FoodStox helps coordinate logistics for every transaction — whether it's third-party delivery, local drop-off, or warehouse pick-up.

How it works: Each seller specifies their available delivery methods in the product description. FoodStox assists with logistics setup — whether it's arranging a third-party carrier, coordinating local delivery, or organizing a pick-up — depending on the product type, size, and location.

Delivery Methods

3PL Shipping: We set up third-party carriers (UPS, Canada Post, FedEx) for eligible products based on size and type.

Local Delivery: Sellers deliver directly within their local area. We help coordinate routes and scheduling.

Pick-up: Buyers collect directly from the seller's location. We help set up the pick-up logistics and scheduling.

What FoodStox Handles

We take the logistics burden off both buyers and sellers. Depending on the product and the seller's preferences, FoodStox can assist with:

  • Setting up third-party logistics (3PL) through carriers like UPS, Canada Post, or FedEx for products that are admissible for shipping based on size, weight, and type
  • Coordinating local delivery routes when sellers offer direct delivery within their area
  • Arranging pick-up scheduling and instructions so buyers know exactly when and where to collect their orders
  • Evaluating product eligibility to determine which delivery method works best for each transaction

Product-Specific Instructions

Every listing on FoodStox includes delivery details in the product description. Before placing an order, please review the seller's instructions to understand which delivery methods are available for that specific product.

Some products — especially perishable goods or oversized items — may only be available for local delivery or pick-up due to their nature.

Shipping Costs and Timelines

Shipping costs and estimated delivery times vary depending on the delivery method, product size, and destination. Details are provided in each product listing.

For 3PL shipments, rates are calculated based on the carrier's pricing for the specific package dimensions and delivery distance. Local delivery and pick-up costs (if any) are set by the seller.
